They enjoy the variety of people and material comforts. They are excellent team players and focus on tasks at hand utilizing fun. They find pleasure in the new. They will involve everyone in discussion and decision making. They value the strengths of different individuals and encourage people to contribute their best. They make great storytellers and in fact this is why they have a special place for children in their hearts. They are deprived when cut off from others.

They aren't fond of written studies, but prefer learning in a 'hands on' way. Because of this they do tend to rush. Schools can be difficult at first, but if they find the relevance of a subject - they will exceed. They are sensitive to criticism and may take it personally. They will focus on the task at hand but forgo the long term costs. However, they are practical with their approach and have a lively sense of humor. If one asks them a question, one should be prepared for a drawn out explanation of their answer and how it relates to their life.

The Bishop's Innkeeper is useful because they can quickly mobilize others during times of crises. They are genuine and optimistic so it is hard not to do as they say. They are the peacemaker due to their sympathetic and tactful natures. They are the builders of the ‘can-do’ atmosphere using humor to brighten everyone’s mood. You should be pleased scoring as a 'Pawn' - it proves that you are a constructive and contributing member of society.

Chaos Caravan, Crown tourney, other graduations, ETC...ETC. Yet we would have felt like bad people if we didn't send an invite to the people that we consider as much our family as our blood family. The date for the party was partly set by my father and brothers since we get together every other week-end. I decided that in my next life that I would be a wealthy cynic. I would live in a large mansion with tall electrified wall around it with razor wire and a loooong drive way littered with pit traps, claymore mines, and rabid dobermans just in case there happened to be any Jehovah's witnesses in the area. I would not marry any crazy women, father any insane children, or own any animal that did not understand that to wake me was to die.
Around 10 every morning my servant, who would be silent, would bring me breakfast in bed. I would read the news paper while watching headline news. About 11 I would get ready to face the day in a bathroom roughly the size of my current living and dining rooms combined. So about noon I would get a massage while listening to quiet classical music and the popping of my spine. Around one, would be exercise time and would continue until I felt tired, you know that good kind of tired. Then it would be back to the palatial bath room for a quick rinse off.
After a lite lunch it would be off to the museum, art expo, or music lessons with whatever elbow clinging, tramp stamp wearing vapid air head caught my fancy this week. Diner would be eaten out at a fine restaurant that understood what good food was and was not afraid to cook it for being thought un-trendy, unhealthy, or un-socially acceptable. Perhaps with some live jazz, or piano music playing lightly in the background.
Later, my driver would take me to the theater or possible a concert that caught my eye. And then to round out the evening a couple drinks in front of the fireplace with a good book in my library before retiring for the night safe and secure in my fortress of solitude.
You know, that sounds good and I would probably enjoy it for a week or two, but after that I would begin to wish for my old life back. Well only most of it back. I would try to keep the money and house after all.

UGH! But it is a night where my wife and I can get out with out the kids and have something that sort of resembles a nice dinner for free. I'm really suprised they are having one at all. I wonder what all of the speaches after the dinner are going to be about. Usually they talk about how great the company is, and blah blah blah. I wonder if they will say that they are sorry or even thank you for hanging in there with us.

Little John is psyked up about trick or treating. You can almost see him vibrate when he stops moving, which is not often. Ashley and DAAAVID are going to pass out candy, and Angela is undecided about going out trick or treating ( she thinks she is getting too old ). I gave her an out by asking if she would watch Little John this year and I think that turned the trick so to speak.

Man is it hard coming back to work after having such a good week end. It was interrupted, rushed, and too short, but right now my life is such that in comparison it was great! Nothing is better than a weekend spent with friends.

We all had a long talk about the "direction" our house is taking, or not taking, depending on your point of view. Now I have never claimed to be the most or even the second most intelligent person on the planet, but I didn't exactly understand where this discussion came from. I understand that people in the house have different interests and life takes people in different directions, but aren't the house only camp outs there so we can for a moment step off of our separate paths and be with people who care for us and that we care about? Can't the people that "do" the SCA use the concept of the house and forge it into what is needed in the game work of the SCA and leave it loose for our informal get together with out offending our brothers and sisters who do not "do" the SCA? Couldn't others in the family also use the concept of the house and forge it into what ever they needed it for? Be it a LARP guild, WOW guild, dart league, charity work, or whatever with out giving offense to the people who "do" the SCA? I would like to think so. To me the main purpose of this house is these stupid little camp outs, which are not really so stupid. There are people that come to these camp outs that I normally would not get to see out side of this frame work, people that I would miss in my life. I love this house and the people in it. Let the members use it as they need to. The reason that the people in it are members is because we trust them not to sully the name of the house (Well at least not too much hehe) and to up hold the ideals of the house. I don't, as I said, really understand the problem. Maybe I'm just too simple, or too trusting, but I hope not. This house is full of my brothers and sisters, and if they have need of what I can give it is theirs no questions asked. Is there really such a large feeling of exclusiveness? I don't know, I am out of the loop right now, but I didn't feel it at the camp out. Did any one else feel it? Are we building paper windmills to tilt at? Arrrgh! This makes my head hurt.

Well...... today I got to interview for the job I currently have, and what do ya know I'm qualified. It made me feel a little humiliated. No raise, still on nights, don't know what my schedule will eventually look like. Say hello to the new boss same as the old boss.

My father is a delivery man for a local printing co. and happened to deliver to St. Francis today. He was approached by a person who asked him if he knew antone who wanted to be a nurse. He told this person about me, and this person said "A guy?! Great send him over." My father then explained that I could not quit my job to go to school, To which they replied " I'm sure that we could arrange to get him a suitable job here to get him through." Food for thought.

I will not get to stay Friday night at the camp out I am going to this weekend, because on Saturday I have to be in Bellevue for a training class for this new company. I get to do this for free also WOOHOO!!. Even though I could probably teach the class myself.

All of this is very frustrating because I need to get certain thing in my life squared away before I can restart my life with my hobie the SCA. I hate to half ass anything, this goes double for things that I care about. I had been half assing my commitment to the fighting in the SCA, So I scaled it back til it was almost nonexistent (I could not quit it like I should because I love it so much), but I still feel like I'm half assing it. But when I do finally get my life/job reset I hope my friends who are fighters are prepared, because I will probably be a pain in the ass doing all that I can to catch up for lost time. When I cut back on the commitment to the fighting I did so with great reluctance because I was just beginning to see what was on the next level, I was not there but I could see it, and I was excited about all there was to know, to learn, to do. At first it was just fun to hit your friends with sticks, now that is not enough for me. I never have or will ever look for the accolades that some people strive for ( If I'm not the king and a knight and a laural by christmas I'll just die!) that has never been me. Not that having goals is a bad thing, but my goals are more personal (just defeat one more person in this tournament/melee, try to do this feast a little better than the last, meet two new people at this event) small steps, things that are a little more manageable. Climb enough mole hills and you can reach the stars. GOD where did that come from! If some one else had assaulted me with that garbage I would have asked them to go shoot themselves and save me the trouble.

Any way, job sucks, but might get better.
